It just takes a lot of patience - if you're not a lutheran by trade.Yeah, some people just aren't suited for this type of work.
if you're not a lutheran by trade.
I spent 6 weeks building a Warmoth strat.
Researching every step before I drilled a hole, or did any amount of assembly.

Instead of aggressively sanding he could have just dyed the top black. Let the mistake work in your favor.
I do feel bad for the guy though. That’s a solid color guitar now. Forget the top.
You're too late to save him. And now that we know he's not Lutheran, he may not be able to be saved at all.Instead of aggressively sanding he could have just dyed the top black. Let the mistake work in your favor.

Trust me.. my impulse was to assemble that strat as fast as possible and start playing it.Hahaha when I got all the shit delivered for my Gilmour Strat I spent a whopping 45 minutes putting the whole thing together. TBF, bridge holes were already drilled and that was the only part I’d have been concerned about fucking up. While I didn’t fuck up the nut cutting, it did take me 3 shots at getting it just right, I was just being too cautious when cutting and not going deep enough.
Drilled the neck screw holes using my couch as support.

I had to make myself take breaks, and play GTA 5
The exact time I started reading that I got an invite from my GTA V buds. Must be kismet!
