If no one here has figured it out yet, Headrush screwed up the Drop Tune in 5.0.0 while touting it was improved. Choppy, lots of artifacts. Allegedly HR is working on the issue so we'll see. Lots of mention of it on the InMusic HR Forum.

Good on them for continuing to support their product line substantially.

My bandmates who have a current-gen one will probably never bother to download this as they're not the "sit down and work on licks with a drum machine" type, but cool.

Also, have to give them props for turning their public image around. A few years ago, their official videos and update notices were laughably brotastic and overdone. Now, much more buttoned up and informative.

There are a few other updates in there that I really like, including Up Tune, two new OD pedals and Auto Engage option for the expression pedal.

That's pretty cool, but if it could split the tracks into stems so you could solo or drop the guitar track, that would be a much bigger deal.

Agreed. That's what I do on my Prime with Moises on my phone and the bluetooth connection to the Prime.
