Have You Bought Any Amp Heads / Combos & Cabs In 2025?

I did buy this preloved Orange PPC 412 4 X 12”Celestion Vintage 30 cab.
A few weeks ago to stack on the one I bought new from GAK a few years ago.👍🍺

Yup. I bought it a month or so ago. Had it for a few weeks, and then bought a
different Pitbull, so I returned it. :idk

It's a swell amp at a great price. I was going to try and flip it for a higher resale,
but man, I am tired of those kind of people obliterating the excitement others
can get from some sweet deals.:beer

I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on it. Did you find the Youtube video featuring
that exact same amp. It's very famous.... and you had no idea. :LOL:

I had a 50 st years ago I liked a lot, and wanted a small amp to take to gigs and jams and such so was looking at a pitbull 45 combo when this popped up.

If it’s operational I’ll probably keep it since I am familiar with them already. I guess I am off to YouTube to check out a video of it.

Grabbed an early 70s Bassman 50 and had my tech converted it to the 64 bias and power amp spec with a PPIV master and negative fb switch.

Snagged this Mesa Studio Preamp and a Mesa 290 poweramp.

Awesome! Yeah, it's fully functional. No FS, so you'll have to source one. $499 for a 50 W Pitbull even

The tolex is intact and the quality of the shell is not all that bad. Another White Amp enters the Forum!! :LOL:

That’s a good question…..I thought I had seen it on other Marshalls before but now I’m coming up empty on searches. I’ll have to ask Archie.

And yeah, with 3 white heads I need some kind of matching cab! I started looking at Sourmash’s site today, while a purple head/cab is right up my alley, I’m not buying another 2x12 cab for a long time coming as I’m up to 4 of them and have only wanted a 4x12 for the last year. It’d be nice if any of these 2x12’s were matching!

Yeah. Hopefully it works out.

I checked the comments in the video too. Seems like that tech might know why or possibly why the voltages were mismatched. If I like it well enough I’ll pursue getting it up to snuff.

Or it might be good enough as is :)
 
If I had kept it I may have rolled some New Tubes into it. But apart from that it was solid and fully checked out. :beer
