For those of us in the States interested in this power amp I just converted my new GPA 100 to 110v, fairly easily. You do have to disassemble the unit and pull the main board but there is are clearly marked solder pads roughly near wear the input jack is placed where you can solder a jumper. All in all it took maybe 20 minutes. I forgot to take process shots but I'll include a gut shot if you want to try and ascertain anything about the build quality from it.

You can buy these in 110v from Ebay, under the "Playtech" brand.

They ship from Japan but it's usually free shipping so at the end it's a similar price to the Harley Benton shipped. Maybe 20 bucks more.

But it's cool that they're easy to mod (y)

Yeah I knew about that but I might also get the rack version and I couldn't find a Playtech version of that so I used this as a trial run

So after trying it out everything is working fine but I found it was not particularly loud, my Higher Power from This Heavy Earth was louder running off 24 volts until I discovered the EQ works kind of like an old Marshall and turning up the eq made the power amp significantly louder without really changing the tone. So now with the EQs at 3 O'clock it's quite loud. I'll being trying it out with my band today to see how it holds up.

If you can pay a bit more, the Palmer Macht 402 is a much better amp than the Harley Benton rack. And it has a 120/240v switch. I think the price difference is about 90 bucks. Definitely worth it.
