That is pretty cool. I had years worth of these magazines. I ended up moving into a smaller house and had to trim down on a lot of things so I gave them to a friend of mine. That was probably 20 years ago now. I think he still has all of them. I know he loved having them and posted some pictures on Facebook a handful of years ago.

I remember those Andy Aledort articles breaking down the theory behind iconic
player and their riffs and licks, and not understanding a lick of what he was going
on about.

I'd read it dozens of times each month until the new issue came. So glad I had
access to all of that and stuck with it.

Yeah, I was too young and too inexperienced to understand most of it. I plan on digging back into the lessons in this archive.

Well, thanks for link at least haha! I subscribed to this for many years, and I read each issue cover to cover. I still remember how most of the guitarists interviewed said they started playing guitar because of Eruption.

I wasn’t trying to be a dick or anything. I just don’t have an account at TOP and don’t plan on ever creating one.

I just saw my typo. I meant to write Thanks for the link to the archive at aleast! No problem! I was just thinking I'd love to get a web link to the thread where this appeared so I could say thanks myself. Just copying the URL, which wouldn't require an account. It's no big deal, and I really appreciate you sharing this archive. I already downloaded it!

My God, this is incredible. I still kick myself for getting rid of the extensive collection I had. Thanks for posting! Would you please post to the page on TOP. I'd like at least to say thank you to the magnanimous soul who shared this bounty!
When you are at Google Drive downloading these, if you roll over the "Owner" icon, it might give you a "Email Owner" link. It does for me, but I am logged into a gmail account so that may be why it does it and might not if you are not logged into a google account. Not sure but worth a shot.

It appears that a few of the folders have been modified recently, so the owner may be reachable.

Back in the 00’s my buddy’s band had a string of dates opening for Dickey Betts and when they came up to New England I joined them for a couple shows just to hang out. Andy was playing with Betts on that tour and I was more excited about meeting him than I was Betts just due to all his articles/transcriptions I’d seen for years. Betts just stayed on his bus, like the entire time, but Andy would hang before/after shows. Really fun dude to talk to, very laid back and humorous.

Thanks! I did see the email address there, I really wouldn't want to email someone out of the blue like that. On a forum you can of course choose if you want to be notified about stuff or even to be messaged, but email is a different thing to me, more private. Even just as a thank you, it's too much in my opinion. If it were a business posting this, that would be different. Thanks though!
