Oh, man! I spotted this in the Wild today. It was not
even connected to a Cab. WTF!!?? It should be a centerpiece of
the Store.

Look at the GEQ.... before and after I fixed it.

My good deed accomplished on behalf of the World today.

I was going to hang around and play it, but they only had 2 employees working. The Manager apologized and
said, "Corporate is cutting payroll big time. Sorry."

It was listed as new at $3599!! Again.... should have been on a Cab and featured somewhere in the Store.

That Store (like a lot of GCs) could use some expert staging to get high value items featured and
accessible to you know.... play.... so someone might one day want to buy that kind of stuff.

Guitars were a bore. Tons of entry-level and midrange stuff.

Taking the day to head downstate and hit up a Guitar Center or two.


Loading up the car with a couple of Marshalls. Going to try and do some horsetrading.

Excited to go check out the Acoustic Room, play a few Dreadnaughts, and maybe even
discover something I am not even looking for.

Probably least painful way to get rid of some gear at a price that you can live with most of the time.

I get like one (maybe 2) a year. It's 2 hours just to get to the freaking "city."

I am going to try and not be dumb and lose my ass. I literally have never traded in gear at GC. Not once.

But I have way to many big, dumb amps and it is time to start whittling that down and not
leave a mess for the kids to clean up.

And I am graduating to the Porch shortly here.... (within a year or so!) and it will be a permanent/lifetime gig, so Dad
might need a new to me Acoustic. Might.


Just fun to go get your hands on a bunch of fiddles you couldn't get intimate with otherwise.

I lived in the FL sticks in my early 20s. Didn't appreciate it as much as I should have at the time though. Now I'm ready to go back again, the years keep slipping away!
