Gamechanger Audio Light Pedal

I’m scoffing at the cost but totally intrigued by this thing as an analog reverb device that can make outlandish and normal sounds.

Anyone using it?

I've got one, and a couple other Gamechanger Audio pedals, they make cool & unique stuff. Actually, this is my second Light. I bought it brand new but it arrived semi-broken, so I had to swap it out with another unit. Once I got a fully functioning pedal I was impressed! The only drawbacks are the large footprint and the fact it draws a ton of power (500A) that not all supplies are ready to dish out, looking at you PP2+. It will definitely do the Fender reverb tank thing, but can also get big washy ambient tones going as well. The Optics and Harmonics settings are my favorite.

Though it seems like this pedal can do standard spring sounds, I think this is more interesting for the weird shimmery stuff you aren’t going to get out of a typical spring reverb.

Yeah this what i was hoping to uncover. I like reverbs I can play as an instrument to accompany what I’m doing on the guitar.

Ah ok. In that case, check out the Chase Bliss CXM 1978. In that same expensive AF category (sorry!), but another killer reverb pedal that can do mild to very wild.

I own their Bigsby pedal, and it's fantastic....not cheap, but it delivers. They build amazing stuff.

Why did I have to look at this thread? Now I’m considering sending back my latest pedal purchase and trying out one of these!

Price tag is a bit high but it looks awesome. Not a big fan of spring reverb in itself but with the options available this is enticing.

So yeah, NPD here since I went and returned the other pedal at the store, tried the Light pedal and basically couldn’t walk out without it since they price-matched the other places I checked for availability.

Will try to put it through it’s paces in the coming weeks but will be taking it slow and enjoying making really weird sounds!
