FYI: UA Plugin Sale

Fwiw, you can right now get 3 UAD Plugins for €119. Includes their currently available UAFX amps. Was even tempted for a while myself because that's a pretty good deal (personally, I'm sorted for a while).

I’m on the fence for that $300 bundle that has tons of stuff. I’m really enjoying the hardware but only dabbled with the software. It’s cool but I primarily use modelers for everything.

I nabbed the Distressor and Fatso plugins with the $25 coupons they keep spamming on top of the holiday sales. I suppose at some point I should actually turn on my computer and use them.

Did anyone get the 3 guitar amp bundle that also gives a free year of Spark? If you did, did you also get an email telling you how to redeem the free year subscription? According to Support I should follow that link in that email. I never got that email though.

Just looking for verification that it comes as a separate notice with instructions on how to get the free year, or is it the email showing you paid for the bundle... and it tells you to use UA connect to log in and get your download?

I was looking at this yesterday, but saw Spark is native only and I'd want to have hardware plugin options.

I'm pretty close to just grabbing the Signature bundle while it's on sale...it does have the guitar amps but all those other effects looks really tempting. Especially the SSL stuff.

Also finally registered my Apollo Twin, which I got used and luckily no issues. I still for some reason have a bunch of plugins that are listed as authorized, so not sure if they transferred over with the Apollo or not?

That signature bundle is a great deal, especially if you don’t own much of it already. It should also give you a decent upgrade price (especially when you add in their vouchers) to Ultimate which will fill out the DSP based plugins nicely (if you ever feel the need for more).

I sold an Apollo Twin and transferred my plugins to the buyer but apparently the basic set of plugs you get when you buy an interface are yours for life even if you elect to transfer 'all your plugins' to a buyer. They get the same ones that are free to any new user at that time along with the plugins you actually paid for and then transferred.
So the ones you found were likely the free ones that were part of your initially joining the UA hardware club.

There’s a lot of plugins though including the Marshall Plexi! I may have to get the signature, I should mess around with unison stuff too.

Think I'll hold off on the plugin sales as I have so many on my Apollo for some reason. They must have come from the old owner. I've been messing around with some stuff like throwing the Neve 1073 on the guitar feed, sounds pretty good!

Oh, finally found something to buy. They have the classic FX package for $49 and I only had the LA-2A, so got the Galaxy echo, Brigade chorus, Studio D chorus, Lexicon 224, and Waterfall rotary. Also got the SSL bundle to get the channel strip and buss comp. So lots of stuff to play with now!

Edit: Oh FFS, after refreshing now all those plugins disappeared and I've only got a handful again.

Spent a few hours messing around with different Unison channel strips/pres and decided to grab the LA-6176 while it's still only $29. It's not revolutionary but running the Axe 3 into this, it's a little easier to mess around with the EQ and compression. Using it to knock off a little highs and lows and in LA-2A mode to knock it down a couple dB's. Sounds pretty cool.

At some point, I'll need to grab a bundle with the 1073 and API stuff which sounds good as well. But this will be fun to play with and very different than the SSL.
