You'd think modern times here (since it is a modern product) that "US" would be more modern type Mesa Boogie half-stacks (4x12), not old school type Fender combos (1x12, 2x12).

Well.... Lots of us like to run old school Fender combos. We aren't all massive Dual Rec Chug-Lords of Doom. It's good to have options.

I don't know how many players crank Fender amps for their power amp distorted tone, but Plexi and AC30 definitely.
