Watching the ToneTalk with Andy Wood last night they got onto Plexi’s and how some people can make them work and some people can’t. If you start around the 20 minute mark they’re getting into it.

(can’t embed it)

Andy comes in around 21:30-ish with the right hand aspect and I’m in complete agreement with him. I’ve said for years the picking hand is the gas pedal and the left is the steering wheel, but he gets into a bit more detail on the relationship between the pick/string/amp that I think is one of the most crucial aspects of forming an identity or giving your playing character.

Looking forward to watching this when time permits

Tone may not be in the "hands", but if you put them in the wrong place at the wrong time....you'll kill tone.

🤔

So, you hold toans life in your hands, would be a better analogy.

I'd love to go to Andy's Woodshedding Workshop sometime. Such a swell dude with
monster chops in a wide range of styles.

And yeah.... those who know know..... especially with specific amps where that is part
of the interactive relationship between user and our most immediate interface. :rawk
