Fishman Fluence Split Coil Recommendation

I’d like to try a pair of Fishman Fluence humbuckers, primarily to reduce my noise floor, and hopefully get improved “split/single coil” sounds. Anyone have recommendations for pairs of Fishmans based on good split coil sounds? It seems like many of the specifically advertise this feature, such as the DTs, Abasi’s, and Tim Henson’s.

Just keep in mind that when the Fluence humbuckers are split, they no longer buck the hum! That was a big revelation for me, and turned me off from wanting to use them. I learned this when I called their customer service number and spoke to someone there! I wish they were way more clear in their marketing about this, but there is a YouTube video explaining this.

If you want to be able to split and still stay humbucking there are a few options I know of: ZexCoil Tribuckers, EMG 89, 66TW, 57TW, 81TW, 89, 89R, 81TWX, 89X, and 89XR, and JBE HB Two/Tones. There may be others too, but those are what I know of. From what I can tell, the ZexCoils are the way to go for both a great PAF humbucker tone and a perfect strat tone. The most natural EMGs might be their 57/66TW set, but finding info on the strat tone is hard to come by. I saw a video of the JBEs some time ago, and the strat tone was not cool in my opinion.

If I could I'd go for the ZexCoils in a second. I do believe Scott Lawing of ZexCoil will make you a noiseless split humbucker for you out of any combination of his pickups. I've read nothing but good things about their noise floor and tone.

But of course EMGs are famous for rejecting noise in the toughest environments, like shittily wired clubs, dimmer switches, and fluorescent lights. And of course, with the EMGs you have many options, right off the bat.
