First test run, using my Bogner Poweramp but plan to get the Wampler Pedalhead when it comes out.

Not 100% ideal but would definitely work as an emergency backup as it's intended use.

I wish there was a bit more saturation/gain or a way to add a boost in Tonex but here's what ive got after a few minutes.

Probably just need to find the perfect captures to use. Using a Mesa MK IV then a Triple Rec here. So far the Mesas seem to have the most saturation i can find to suit me.

I would say capture your own amp at your own settings and then you will have a digital copy of your actual rig. Doing this has given me the best digital tones I have ever had.

You can check out some of my captures. I like big chunky high gain tones.

100% on making your own captures. I was never truly happy with everyone else's, except for my pal David's, who did a bunch of his Mark V:25, Fillmore 50, and Mark VII. Probably because we've got very similar ideas of dialing shit in.

Will check yours out and yes I've thought about doing this for sure, just brand new and not there yet.

You are aiming for the correct amount of gain in your tones, epic stuff!
I personally prefer unboosted captures and then stack captures or use a real boost. Since you've got 1 x ToneX pedal and they only do single captures try running a tubescreamer into it and using an unboosted profile, should do the trick.
