Yes I played some of the guitar parts, solos and added some other loops and extra keys on Logic, I used NDSP Gojira X and NDSP Soldano SLO-100 X and L6 Helix Native, I don't think I can do better using a mic at home.
My goal is to finish as many songs as I can with the riffs, notes scattered over notepads, microcassetes and hard drives and Logic half songs projects.
I can’t sing like that to save my life :) I created a model of my voice and used that idealized version to cover and perform the lyrics and melodies I had recorded to the best of my ability. The additional instruments came from Suno stems, which I imported and mixed in Logic.
I understand there is a ethical dilemma of using AI but In my case it has been a tool too help me stay focus and motivated, as an example I'm typing this as I stare and listen to a recording and read lyrics I made in 2006
