Fender Broadcaster Tele Pickup?

I want to put a Twisted Tele pickup in the neck and a Broadcaster pickup in the bridge of my Tele but I can't seem to find the Twisted pickups in anything other than a set and I don't see any Fender-branded pickups with the Broadcaster name. Any ideas? Did Fender change the name of the Broadcaster pickups? I know about how they went away from that name for the guitars back in the day, but I've definitely seen people at least talking about Broadcster pickups as recently as this year.

Do they have to be made by Fender? A lot of small winders have built clones of twisted teles. I'm not massively familiar with builders outside the UK but Matt from Montys pickups and Marc at Mojo pickups both make twisted tele and broadcaster sets.

I'm sure you can find a used Fender set that was swapped out for something else. There are many builders with their own version of those pickups.

Lindy Fralin, Seymour Duncan, Lollar. Don Mare is a Telecaster pickup master. He owned Roy Buchannan's "Nancy" which had a unique tone on the bridge pickup as it was faulty from the factory.

They don't really need to be Fender branded. I'm looking for that more full and warm tone. It's a bit beefier and less ice picky.

I may look into some other brands. I love the Lollars in my Strat so that may be an option.

If you can still get it, Seymour Duncan did a Jerry Donahue signature bridge pickup which is gorgeous. Great option for that old school vintage Tele sound.

Also, remember that the complete wiring / pots assembly has just as much effect on the overall sound as the pickup does - get the right pots / caps to match the sound you're looking for. Joe Bonamassa did a great video on it.

Broadcaster set is likely the ‘50-‘51 Blackguard set. It’s what I have in my ‘51 Nocaster reissue. Thankfully with modern wiring. Tried the Blender wiring (made myself a spare harness) and didn’t like it.
