For reasons I don't understand (where did they hear it in the first place?) my tween kids have been singing this song a ton lately. We sat down and watched the video together the other night and ... they were confused.

The Sing movie franchise features this song. Most small children know it.

Flock of Seagulls, Bruce Springstien, wham, Safety dance song, or any band without walls of Marshalls on stage came on.

We would wait for a hard rock tune to come back on while muted!

I have many memories of sitting through eight or ten videos just to catch one that I actually wanted to see. And, as bad as that seemed to a mulleted head banging teenager, it was far better that what MTV eventually turned into, which was shitty “reality” shows all day long.
