False alarm. TB5 would be proud.

Those units haven't been out long enough to have anything rust naturally.
I'm guessing salt fog.

Few years back I went to check out a guy's Mesa combo who lived in Imperial Beach.
If you know SD you know that anywhere near the coastline gets socked in with ocean
clouds/fog about 95% of all mornings.

Amp was flat out gross with corrosion of just about every visible metal part. :barf
Yeah at this point; I'm over it. And I'm ok with that for now.

When I used to gig on the FL coast, every night without fail we'd break multiple strings. The salt and humidity can do some damage that's for sure!

lol my buddy tried to bring some pedals to our GC recently and was told they smelled like weed too much for them to buy.

i thought they had that ksr pa50 for 799. little smoke and rust.... id probably give them 650 for it.

You wouldn't believe the hoops you have to go through to label a speaker as OUTDOOR. You basically design as if the person lives right on the beach and the speaker gets rained on by salty ocean clouds 24/7 for the life or whatever you choose to put on the warranty.

Yeah add shipping and tax and it was at 880something? It was easy enough to accept their "revised disclosure" and wrap up the transaction.

I think I'm more disappointed than you are! :rofl
I am honestly so settled in with gear rn. There are some great things out there but the way my brain works and how things attract me just really whittle down that "I'm realistically going to shoot for this piece" list down to almost nothing. I think a new guitar out left field has probably the best chance to catch my eyes as something new that isn't "fixing a current problem" for me?

Yeah. At this point I'm even having trouble justifying replacing the Ozempic'ed 335 knock off...
