Bought this one today on marketplace
Wanted something to pair the synergy with that is better than my 8008 marshall valvestate.

Not much to found online except it's a limited run ?

Problem :
Connected it to the torpedo x
Connected input and output on master
Amp powers up
As soon i take channel right (master) out of standby it's end of story.

I'll bring it to a technician on Wednesday ;(
In the mean time, anyone more info on this amp ?

What do you mean "end of the story?"

No sound? Shutting off? Any fuses blown?

It could be something as simple as a bad power tube or grid screen resistor. Or it could be something more serious.

it's worth getting it diagnosed, this is a killer power amp.

It's now with the repair service.
Also the white fuses on the board under the tubes were all blown.

I'll let them figure it out ;(
Seller keeps saying it was 100%.... At least the price was good ;)

i have a torpedo Capture x. It should be able to handle 100w. My carvin v3 is no problem for it.

Otherwise I'll probably lower the volume on the pre amp. I prefer the breakup of the power section with the carvin and marshall so i hope the engl will add that same "balls"

Couldn't test it yet ;(

Can your Two notes cope with that amount of power?
My Two Notes Torpedo Captor X can’t.
Ross from Two notes here — it can definitely handle 100W without issue for sure! If you need a loadbox with more power handling capability, Reload II is spec'ed for Amps up to 200W! Let me know if you have any questions concerning this!

Sorry I must have read the post wrong ,I thought he said it was a 200 watt head.
I contacted Two Notes a few years ago after getting my Torpedo Captor X to check if it would be ok to use on one of my 150 watt head and you said because of the valve configuration it would be fine 👍

Two for the price off one ;)

I'll be using it with a patch panel for my pre amps.
One channel will route to the capture X/genome
The other to a SE100 with a black back cab mixed up ;)

Being able to switch with two dedicated channels and four inputs makes it great for recording.

No problem at all! Glad we got to the bottom of this and if you need anything else, we are here to assist! :)

So do I understand this right? It can switch between two volumes and two presence settings per channel? And you can even run two different signals to each side if you want?

That's wild.

What i understood indeed
Plus it has a "pre stage"
So in essence 4 pre amps and 4 cabs.

For me it will be one at a time ;)
But i think it's great that one of the channels can go to a real cab while the other goes the IR route
