ENGL Lunchbox Amp comparison

I get asked a lot about what's the best ENGL lunchbox amp. So I put together a shootout (so glad that I got a KHE switcher recently as that helps a lot). Which one do you gravitate towards?

Cool vid! Did you grab a Fishman loaded guitar cause it sounds better thru those amps than a passive one? Or just personal preference?

I didn't put much thought into it tbh. I use a wide variety of pickups

Yeah, Ive seen you have a killer collection of guitars to choose from. Was just curious if that particular guitar/pup worked best with those amps.

I actually think I might've preferred the Ironball in the recordings here, but that also makes sense because the "bigness" of the Fireball probably doesn't translate super well - the Ironball seems more articulate, but I have a feeling I'd like the Fireball in the room more. Both sound killer. Not a fan of the Morse or the Ravager.

Ironically SE sounds nice! Perfect if you want an all in one package as it sounds really tight without a boost in front.

Still content with my FB25 choice. Like you said it feels more like the ”big amp” experience. Seems more versatile with additional pedals as well so you can dial in tightness with a boost or EQ. And as someone active on this forum I of course want to decide what mod, delay and verbs I use in the loop anyways.

One thing though @GuitarJon the FB25 does have a Master Volume Boost on the same TRS footswitch as the channel selection. So not switchable on the front but it’s there (as well as FX loop on/off).
