It’s a bit high for me. Add a switch that goes between Fireball and Ironball tones. Love they included headphone out though.

I agree in most cases but how would endless encoders work here? Adding a screen or LEDs to show the value would probably increase the price a bit and I don’t see the big advantage.

I think it would work (look at, say, the Zoom pedals, they're not bigger) and for me not having to deal with parameter jumps (which is pretty much inevitable) would be a big advantage. I'm already not using the channel switching capabilities of my Amplifirebox solely for that reason.
Really, if there's anything I adjust sort of all the time during soundcheck (and sometimes during gigs), it's gotta be amp controls.

Yeah it would likely have to be a bit larger, more expensive pedal with LED rings around encoders. I don't think it's a big issue with these type of pedals where you aren't going to have a pile of presets or anything.

I don't think price would necessarily have to be an issue. As said, Zoom manages to slap endless (and switching) encoders into a pedal of comparable size.

With all these "amp-in-a-box" pedals popping up recently, I can't help but contemplate what if Fractal Audio would release something like this with just the Amp + Cab / IR blocks..

It's coming imo, in the VP4 format. The VA4 (or VAC4?)
