Got put onto that speaker from John’s last speaker shoutout. Only thing that’s held me back is the $50 price, which is ridiculous for an IR pack, but I’ll give in the next time I’m gear browsing while buzzed.

If you're thinking about $50 IRs; you should probably buy an amp and cab and fill it with the actual speaker instead.

Interested in this speaker but no way I'm paying 50 bucks for IRs. They should offer a $10 sample pack at least.

Obviously it would be great if someone uploaded some unique IRs they made themselves of this speaker to Tone3000, or if Kristian Kohle wanted to make a free pack that would be awesome too, but if anyone were to pirate upload these files to Tone3000 they will be removed swiftly.
It's absolutely not what we are about.

Thanks for the very cool response - not everyone agrees on these matters!
Btw, I definitely agree that prices like these for IR packs are too steep and unreachable for a lot of people.
Also, if packs were priced more realistically it would probably make for a better situation in terms of piracy too.

It saddens me to see some of my favorite guitar youtubers becoming part of the machine.
They see it as growing their channel but it really is corporate exploitation.
The saddest part about it is the youtuber gradually becomes dependent on this income stream he becomes an advertisement puppet junky.

I‘ve just been at Kristian Kohles workshop at Guitar Summit, and of course he presented the Karnivore. It sounded pretty massive in that ENGL cab he had on stage.
