Dynamics control (Laney Ironheart) does nothing, easy fix?

Ironheart 60h into 4x12.

Haven't played this amp in ages. Just realized that turning the Dynamics control does nothing. Everything else on the amp works and sounds good.

Is this just a normal part of the EQ circuit, I should be looking for cold solder joint or bad pot? Or is it something more sinister, like something to do with the power section/ bias /etc that can't be easily traced?

Looks like its time for a new amp.

Lol, but im pretty sure mine used to do something, now it does nothing. Let me test it again.

Whew: I just tested it, and with wattage on 1W, it really does virtually nothing. With the wattage control on Max it does something but subtle.

It is a control for the power amp sag so you won't hear it much at bedroom volume. Turn it up to stage levels and you notice it a lot more especially in the low end. Still, it's more of a feel than a tone thing.
