Did y’all scare away that Shredder777 guy?

I don't know what's going on, what happened, who you're talking about, and I don't like it 😠

There’s no big conspiracy over likeit getting banned, the dude couldn’t/wouldn’t drop his issue with that one comment that he made a lot of posts, he stopped discussing anything else but that and after we had to delete one or two threads he made, which were tirades against that one single comment, we decided to end his account because it clearly wasn’t going to stop on it’s own. We already experienced that exact same behavior with another member who no longer posts here and that shit just makes this not fun for us to deal with.

Plus, he was plainly acting like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum. There's no room for that type of behavior (regardless of who/how you think it started), especially in a place inhabited mostly by older guys, capable of just ignoring most anything that gets heated. It's was totally out of hand.

Like, dude, get out into the real world every now and again and see what that kind of BS will get you.

He seemed like a nice man.

So you’re saying it wasn’t the butthole avatar? :rofl

Oh he was, no doubt. Started some interesting threads; Never busted on anyone else's gear choices that I recall.

Just let a dumb thing get the best of his emotions, and no one could seem to talk him down.

Hahahaha nope. Though we probably would have asked him to change it had he gone in a different direction just on account of a bunch of us viewing the forum at work and not wanting our bosses/staff walking in and seeing that. :ROFLMAO:

This is all correct. No one is above anyone else; just how the situation played out.

I seriously appreciate you clarifying that for the community. I was not here when it happened, and did not go back and read through all of the threads (and did not get to see the deleted ones), but it was certainly a heated conversation best I could tell. Is what is, and decisions need to be made. I hold no grudges but I do wish he was still here as he typed some funny sh!t and was a "Do Something Challenge" participant!!!

I definitely would have preferred things went a different way as well, it’s not like any of us enjoy such situations.

The only aspect that was heated was his reaction to the initial comment about his post-count, dude just went way, way, way overboard despite others telling him it wasn’t a big deal. I don’t even think the initial comment was hostile or finger-pointing in any way, just something along the lines of “Wow, you have a lot of posts in a short amount of time!”

It didn't sit well with the boys when he claimed he invented "Paprika" either.

:cop

I think most of us would have preferred a different outcome, but at the end of the day you have a responsibility to keep things running smoothly and peacefully.
