Delay comparison redux

I'll keep and eye out for one at the right price. I've never used a boss reverb.

I can't afford many pedals but try them in stores or request friends from time to time to allow me to plug into their board.

If you want reasonably good algos, go for something latest like the RV-6. But the modulated mode on RV-5 is better.

Friend has the RV-200 but she knows how to set it. Anything with that many knobs and a screen would make me confused.

I couldn't get the RV-500 to sound as good as the RV-5 at least! Too smooth.

Great idea to load them up all up and compare side-by-side-by-side-by-side-by-side like that. :cheers

I just find my tastes and preferences change so much that I literally need a plethora of delays, if not the
Plethora of delay pedals.

Tape isn't Digital isn't Drum isn't Modulated isn't Analog isn't Glitchy isn't Loopy isn't .....????

Love them all for different reasons and seasons. :chef :love

Yeah man, totally agreed!!

My main food groups are digital, reverse, and analog. I like tapes, but I don't like pristine tape that basically sounds the same as digital. I like the fucked up nasty stuff. Strymon Volante is probably my favourite pedal for tape delays. It is epic. I might pick another one of those up actually.

I'm learning to re-love the LVX. While it might not be out of the box great for your typical flavours, it can do so many cool intricate weird sounds.

Nice. Mine has been a mainstay on my Board since it arrived. Love it.

I am still itching to try it on/with some Hard Synths/Keys. :banana
