So in the Fractal manual, it says you need a TRS-to-TRS cable to connect an EP to the unit. I'm assuming this cable need not be super-high quality, right?

You want well made (durable) but don't need special cryo-treated oxygen free copper from Venus or any other horse shit.

Rock Stock 1/4" Stereo TRS Flat Patch Cables - 12" Ultra-Thin, Right Angle, Low Profile, Gold Plated, Braided Shielding - Maximize Pedalboard Space, Eliminate Noise, Connect Guitar Effects Pedals https://a.co/d/e9ICrGv

Just got this for my VP4, they have a bunch of different lengths available. Perfect for pedals, I gained a half inch I needed on the new board due to how flat it is.

Man I HATE searching for this kind of stuff. You'd think, or at least I DO, that a site like SW would at least have intelligent FILTERING, like, oh, I don't know... BY LENGTH, for starters!!

And if I check the box that is 'TRS to TRS', then WHY does it return TRS to XLR?

Maybe instead of wasting time calling me to see how I liked the bag of picks, they could spend some time making a more user-friendly website!

Or if it just displayed the available lengths right there in front of you, with the shipping dates!

It’s all just metal and rubber 💯
Eh, good cables can have some heat shrink over some plastic casing that pulls on the metal of the connector instead of just bare wire pulling on the connectors like this cheap Donner one does
:rofl

I'd just spend a bit extra and get a sturdier cable. Get a pair even. Inevitably you may want to use them for audio purposes too.
