Yeah, and the subdivisions are non labeled as a secondary function on a slider. You just kind of randomly move it around to arbitrary spots without a readout. Like bro, let’s have this function easily as a basic delay first.

I hadn’t even noticed that, that’s crazy. My OBNE delays have subdivisions on a labeled linear knob and I’m not even a fan of that

Now that I think about it, sliders having secondary functions kind of kills the benefit of them being motorized. You still end up with preset settings hidden when changing presets (until you take another action to switch to viewing secondary functions.

I think a lot of this pedal is looking like form over function

I really wanted to want it.

It sounds and looks gorgeous. No delay time in the sliders doesn’t bother me at all because that’s how every analog and many digital delays operate. The preamp sounds incredible. The diffusion sounds incredible.

There’s too much I can do with the fractal to get close enough to call it good. If the looper was more robust it would be a sale though.

I’m going to check one out and yeah the price is kinda a Big Time ouch. I like what it can do and how it sounds… I kinda horde delays too. They can do much more than just echo.
