Changed the v1 tube on my Slo 30

Idk if it matters, but I was referring to the 12ax7's in those 2 power amps (yes, they have 3.) Iow, wondering if whatever the negatives are wrt using them in gain stages in an amp, if it would matter for their use in those 2 power amps. (I honestly don't know their purpose, but you have to open the case to get to them.)
