Here's a great example of why I block ads EVERYWHERE, no matter the website.
These are being (well, probably were being) pushed by none other than Google itself. This is just the latest issue with ads online. Companies don't always vet who they sell ads to (or sometimes don't vet at all), and it's how shit is often propagated.
So if you're a knuckle-dragging fuckwit who's not a fan of Strymon, for example, here's a great reason why ad-blocking is not only ethical, it's the smart thing to do. Until ad companies get their collective heads out of their asses, I'm not taking chances. Websites will need to find another way to make money.
