Brand new REVV G3, dubious about quality

I decided to spend money on what most people say it's the best distortion pedal out there, the REVV G3 (even if there are far more expensive ones). While I can tell that the distortion is excellent, I was put off by what seems to be rather flaky construction. While the box is not factory sealed, it seems to me that nobody had it before me. Usually you can tell when that's the case. Things just don't seem like a factory worker put them neatly as usual, sometimes you also see a couple of fingerprints, and other things that even if it was packed carefully by whoever returned it, it's not the same as factory packed. This one seems neatly packed from factory.

But as soon as I grabbed it, it started making little noises inside. And then I shook gently, and I could tell that something was loose inside. Even when I grabbed the switch and shook it again, there was still something loose. Now, the pedal works fine, it doesn't seem to do anything weird like the signal going on and off.

So I just wanted to ask here before I start a return, that because it's Sweetwater, it would probably take a while. For those of you who have this pedal, when you shake it gently, does it seem like there's something loose inside, like a little piece of plastic maybe?
