Well, as said, I always knew you wouldn't have to save anything as long as you didn't switch the thing off - and hence expected it to be the same when rebooting as well, especially as that'd be truly "accurate" to whatever real stompbox behaviour.
Will likely have to develop some new patch setup idea for the small board.
In an ideal world there'd either be a "save all stompboxes" function or a preference for "autosave all stompboxes permanently".
 
Testing a filter for chinese PD trigger (plugged into my Anker powerbank):

Yellow - pd trigger on 9V, no load
Pink - another 1$ pd trigger but with filter, 9v and no load

Actual noise is around 1.36mV (x30..x50 less than original PSU).
Now need to eliminate/reduce this one and i will get clean and cheap power 🤓

Short : yes.
In fact it’s an old idea. I have linear adapter over 2kg 🤓
too heavy. I also made some tests and seen that pd trigger (one i bought on aliexpress for 0.90€ per piece) can handle 9v and upto 3-4A of current. The issue was the noise (from powerbank) and from the boss itself. So i abandoned this idea. But now i have tc electronic sentry which ate all my 9v 🪫 batteries. I digged a bit into filtering back and made simple filter with caps. It seems to give decent result. I don’t have lot of c0g, most are x5r cheap caps, but I think correct LF filter will make it better. Also the place where i test have lot of radio noise (my iphone near, android, anker itself, few led lamps…).

Guess once i have prototype with LF filter (not the way i did), i can print pcb and solder few for test drive.
 
Btw some interresting stuff about powering via powerbanks: when it have low levels voltage could drop drastically under the load, so it will suck to power your devices.

Why good powerbank matters?

Here is my Anker 737 i use since nov’2023, measured on 1% and 2% or almost dead battery:

8.3 Ohm load, thats around 1.1A current, bit less than big gt1000 need. Voltage drop around 0.17V . Powerbank estimate 10W so current is correct.

Here is 4.3 Ohm load, around 2.09 current, drop around 0.23V. Powerbank estimate 14.4W so current is about 1.6A and it’s cover gt1000 (1.2A afaik)

How to pick good powerbank? Target these who lower the voltages:
This PD bank have 21.6Vdc with 4Ah, 6x4000mAh batteries in a serie. It can go to 28V sure, but all what less than 21.6 will be lowered. Drawback: every cell must return same current (1.6A in tests), so powerbank will limit it if cells are weak (like it’s happens now), but the voltage don’t drop drastically.

I compared the boss GX-100/GX-10, GX-1 noise suppressor to the Valeton and I must say boss should improve their noise suppressor
I emailed them with the results, they were very nice, etc, but didnt promise any future update. They said they were looking into it. At first they thought everything was normal, after 3 replies I showed them the issue, and then where I got the "we'll forward to the appropriate department".

Which Valeton unit did you compare with?

I don't think the GT-1000 noise gate is very good. You can tweak it with variable input sensitivity etc (Google that) but it's not anywhere near as effective as say the Fractal for higher gain tones.
