Final piece of maple installed. I don’t think I’m going to bother with any sort of stabilizing inlay across the crack but may revisit if it seems to be moving any.

Love the bark inclusions - my wife says the one on the corner looks like a heart and who am I to argue if it makes her happy.

Yeah, exposing and finishing the brick was its own sub-project, but worth it.
