Terrible UI - totally unintuitive
Screen re-sizing is crap
Amps and EFX sound 10 - 15 years old
Selecting and changing Amps and EFX is rubbish

I am quite shocked as I *thought* this might be close'ish to the L6 / Axe algorithms - but its not even in on the road to the carpark of the ball-park.

Wow it really is shite. It really does sound like a 2010 product.

For those that have tried both, Is Amplitube 5 -a lot- better ? Current 2024 sounding algorithms ?

Amplitube 5 is, IMO, DEFINITELY better. It takes some work though, due to their fucky input gain. But they've got a lotta good shit in there. If you do, get the Satch set. The Rockman is a fucking hoot.
