I know you're joking, but it's like saying "use all the colors!" Only the best artists can use ALL the colors

I'm mid-forties and it felt like my close up vision dropped off overnight. I'm sure it'll continue to get even worse as the years go by but, as it stands now, I don't need glasses to play at all. However, I just joined a new church band which has the IEM mixer on our personal phones instead of iPads at my previous stop. I struggled pretty mightily during that first rehearsal because I couldn't read what the different mix channels were. I'll be bringing my glasses for rehearsals for a while until I feel set with the mix.
