Asking for opinions on Fender’s Vintera Bass VI

Anyone here own one? Opinions good or bad appreciated. I’m thinking about grabbing one. Watched some YT Vids but was curious about some other opinions.

If it's a Bass maybe try the Bass Forum? A quick look online says it's somewhere between a Bass and a Baritone.

Thanks for the info. And yes….I'm quickly determining that unless the topic being discussed is something called TOP that it’s kinda quite in these parts. I’ll figure things out eventually!

I’m curious also.
I own the squire version…that’s doable.
Had my hands on a custom shop…those are 20 steps up and great!….and 6k if I’m correct

I went ahead and got one. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and the Bass VI seems like it can fill a definite niche for me. Now….the wait for the UPS Driver begins:)

I have an Ibanez SRC6, and it’s amazing. Really fun instrument. It doesn’t have a trem, but honestly for me that’s plus.

I have the Squier VI. Then I bought 2 more Basses and it looks at me at lonely
and neglected in the Stand.

Hope you dig yours. I almost feel like I need to write around it as the core instrument.

What I love about the VI is that is tuned as a guitar…4 or 5 strings, or 6 tuned in 4ths, is always a mind f*** to me.
you need to be carefull with closed voicings in low registers…but apart from that it’s very familiar territory for a guitarplayer.
