Amperium vs Fractal Clips

Here is a very amateur comparison of the 1959SLP Plexi and 2 channel Dual Rec Red in the St Rock and Fractal. Both matched settings and using the same IR. No drives or reverb.

one seems to have way more low end, guessing thats impedance curve+poweramp related? with the dual rectifier clip, its probably a bit wild, but dual rec's can be like that. both sound cool but the difference seems quite drastic/

Clip labeled 1 was the fractal and Clip labeled 2 was st rock in both instances

The Amperium's amp models sound much tighter and brighter than the Fractal's. I honestly have no idea which ones are closer to the real amps, but I prefer tighter and brighter.

Yeah the Amperium is definitely brighter in every aspect. I've found this to be the case with any device against fractal. FAS is often the darkest

I've been pleasantly surprised with the Amperium. It holds its own for sure (and I love the editing app)
