All NDSP Plugins at 50% discount (until May, 7th)

kind of a shame that NDSP have slowed right down on plugin releases.

The only ones I don't have are:

- Morello
- Rabbea
- Tone King Imperial
- Morgan Suite
- Parallax

Out of those, I'm slightly interested in Morello just because the 2205 has its uses. Even then, I'm not sure how much I'm willing to pay for it given I have models of my own 2210 as well as the Nembrini plugin. Weirdly, I'm (slightly) more tempted by what UAD are doing atm. Amp sim singularity is upon us.

And "PCOM COMING SOON" on sooo many! Yay!

This is a really good opportunity to expand my plugin collection. I might really like Fortin Cali and NTS... but I'd love to know which plugins get the X treatment next. There hasn't been an update on this for a long time. Well, what the heck, I'll probably just get them anyway.

What do you think of the Asato?

Might grab a few during the sale. I have Nolly, Asato and SLO, so perhaps Petrucci and Nameless?

Kind of curious about the Imperial as well, after being really impressed with my TK Imperial preamp pedal.

Lonestar sounds awesome. Bogner Shiva was better than I expected as I don’t really love that amp. I think this is one of the 20th anniversary ones, or at least one with a bright cap. Tape Echo/Space delay is rad.

Sort of similar to Henson, cool for cleans and crunch tones

As long as they continue the free X treament upgrade no loss really.

Yeah the delay was actually one of the main reasons I was thinking about trying it, but like most things HOW MANY DELAYS DOES A PERSON NEED? :ROFLMAO:

I've downloaded demo versions of the plugins I don't own yet and might be interested in. Damn, why have I never really looked into the Fortin NTS before? It just sounds incredibly good and suits my style 100%. Awesome!
:rawk

Interesting that the plugin page now advertises "Plugin compatibility coming soon" for the Archetypes (except Asato) but people who want a Mark 2C+ or Tone King Imperial will be shit out of luck for a long time it seems.

Took the Mateus Asato, Nameless and Fortin Cali plugins for a spin.
  • Mateus Asato: Liked the apparently Mesa Lonestar based amp, and the tape echo. Everything else, meh. Didn't like the highest gain amp at all.
  • Nameless: Pretty good, but feels like a bit of a one trick pony.
  • Cali: I thought I'd like this more, but it was a bit fiddly to work with and ultimately didn't like the cab that much.
In the end I ended up buying nothing, pretty much like every NDSP sale. Not because there's anything wrong with the plugins, they just don't do anything I can't get from something else.

did you try the low input and toggle the MVC push pull (diode clipping)? Cranking the master to 10, diode clipping off, and using the low input can be quite cool. It is a bit of a one trick pony but I think it’s the best high gain jose style plugin out there.

Cali is similar in concept but with so many switches it’s easy to make it sound bad. It really helps to know what each of the switches do and what kind of results to expect from it
