Aging

I'm ok with being old. Actually. I wouldn't want to be young in this mess we live in.

I'm turning 62 and the last decade, particularly the last 1.5 years where a he'll of a rollercoaster.

6 month ago a life time of bad habits and addictions finally bit me in the ass.
Me left hand was unusable for about a month and playing felt like dragging your hands across a cheese grater.
Luckily the facility didn't go.
Even better it's finally back.

And I'm a day from 6 month clean and sober.

So yeah this body is worn and needs retreading. Lol

Nuno does that. Just saw a video he posted, sitting there getting pumped. I know the benefits, but for some reason it freaks me out. 🤣
Oh is that what all the hoopla of "the guitar community" on FB was all about?

Now that's hilarious.

My first wife told me about this as an alternative treatment for my COPD, as she read something about Keith Richards doing it. Plus it was so dirt cheap I tried it.
Didn't think it was gonna do jack but yeah it was amazing. In Germany it's like 150€ a treatment, in India it was 25 bucks.
The extreme amount was line 50 bucks.

Not sure how Nuno blows 60 on it. It must be like a massive amount.

I'll be 52 in about 4 months. But my body feels 62, and my mind is still 32. :ROFLMAO:
I'm very thankful though, my weight never fluctuates too much in either direction, I'm not on any meds and eat much better than I did 5 yrs ago.
My dad has been gone since 2007 from melanoma, and he was just 58. Hard to believe because I'm creeping up to that age. My mom is still hanging in there though, and she's had a lot of rough ailments over the years yet she always manages to bounce back. She's very determined -- a tough cookie.
