Pretty neat. It’ll be here Tuesday. First photos then video. I got mine from Amazon but you can also get them on AliExpress or Temu.
I don’t believe this is a knock off off anything I’ve seen at least.

Sounds like crap in that vid. :grin
A lot of stuff does. His voice sounds muffled as well so who knows how it sounds recorded well? He board looks a bit sus with some other inexpensive pedals. I’m thinking it and a cheap delay might make for a pretty versatile mini board for $50. That seems like fun to me… even if just one of the nine voices are usable. From the video I can hear at least 3 I might be able to coax something usable out of it.

It’s a fun and cheap experiment! Pedal doesn’t look half bad either… it could certainly look worse. USB-C is a nice surprise.

Here’s the videos with better audio:

Haha! Sweet! $20 USB power bank for no power supply based hum if needed.

😏

I really like how slim the depth is. It’s a nice touch. Having access to markets that offer inexpensive gear that seems to be original (or at least not an obvious copy) at prices so low is great! After I run my ~$50 experiment, I’ll likely gift them to a talented nephew that plays. He’s in college and cash-strapped so he’ll appreciate it a lot. Knowing him he’ll get some cool tones out of them for sure.

I’d bet that one of amp 5-9 coupled with pattern, analog, dTape or dual delay would sound pretty sweet.

Having 18 choices along with EQ and other parameters on the delay is bound to offer something I’d like have a little fun with.

I am guessing this is digital, like mooer amp sim pedals. Friend has a day tripper which is nice.

But then again, people like joyo have a lot of analog stuff which sounds good.

Apart from amp sims, there are also multi mode overdrive pedals like these. I think this is a clone of JHS's green pedal. I may be wrong though.

Pretty sure the delay and reverb are digital. I don’t know about the amps.

Whelp, got the mini-amp in. It’s a complete POS. So go ahead and flame me. I deserve it. Going to my poor nephew.

Hopefully the delay and reverb are digital and fare better. @EOengineer was right, I need to be saved from Temu , Ali-Express and Ali-Baba!

I think this mini-amp might just be the ticket to that end. Good thing it was so cheap. Has to be in my top ten of all time crappiest pedals. But it does look kinda cool in its own weird way. But you guys were absolutely right on this one, not gonna lie.

I don't know much about these new pedals. Maybe you can find a store/ website which offer some kind of 7-day return or warranty programme on these. This way you won't lose money while trying them, instead of ordering directly from overseas.

This was an Amazon purchase with free returns… but thank you for the suggestion.

The quality control/ checking on such products is not performed well. Usually they sound good.

I had once tried a 15 or 20$ no-name chorus with ugly yellow graphics, which a friend bought online. Sounded good. The pedal was made of metal, but the input jack (made of plastic?) broke after removing cable from it. He later bought some old ibanez chorus for about 70$ which he is still using.

My other friends who are into inexpensive pedals have had a little better luck with Mooer, Nux, Joyo, Caline, Valeton etc.

I bought an OD-3, BD-2 and DS-1 for $80 total. Yes, they were used and still a great deal. They're very solid. I'm always wary of new pedals costing $30 or less.

Not to hijack this thread but do you find your BD-2 crackly, for the lack of a better word?

It sounded something like that with my amp (5 watt Supro). I liked the OD-3 better, but it has a little too much bass. This is why I had to go with something like the Charlie Brown (any pedal with 3 band EQ wins).

I guess all dirt pedals react variably with different amps. So my MMV.
