.

I had seen a demo. These are nice.

Which has more gain?

What does the sensitivity knob on the '800 pedal do? Some kind of compression control?

Marshall made in the uk and Vietnam amps are going to cost lots more now when they hit the USA because of these bloody stupid I'm being a dipshit and starting a political thread 😳

Shirley it only gets political if names and governments get mentioned?
Other than that it’s just new fact of life Tax laws that companies and musicians are going to end up getting hit with.

Good video!

So I had some rewards points from Musician's Fiend that was going to expire. You can't get none of the Marshall amps that I want in the US right now. Anything other than the DSL, Origin or Studio line are either backordered or out of stock. So I seen these new Marshall pedals available for sale. I had good luck with Marshall pedals in the past. I got the BluesBreaker and Guv'nor reissue pedals when they come out about a year ago and liked those. So when I seen the new JCM800 and 1959 pedals available I ponied up my rewards points and some cash and ordered both of them.

They arrived today. I did a quick once over and they are heavy, robust and seem to be very sturdily built for years of stepping on. They take either a 9V battery or the standard 9 volt input from a power supply. They're about 1 1/2 times as wide as a Boss pedal but not as tall.

I plugged them into a Gibson Theodore and a Orange OR 15 head and a 2x12" cab. I never played a real 1959 Marshall amp before yet but use to have a 1987 halfstack and that's what the sound of the 1959 pedal reminded me of. Sounded kind of like a '70s Marshall amp. The JCM800 reminded me of my Marshall Silver Jubilee combo or a late '80s Marshall JCM800 amp. Only had these pedals for a short while yet, however I really like the sounds and build quality of them.

I’m borrowing my buddy’s OR15 and I don’t want to give it back! Lol
