This is wrong on so many levels. First off, they are hideous. During the Nevermind The Bollocks days, Steve Jones used a Fender Twin and later a Music Man combo. When I saw him in the 90s he was using a JCM 800. These amps have nothing to do with that album or era.

I imagine John Lydon is getting a cut too since the Sex Pistol logo is on the amp.

And Jones will do a Twin too, if Fender offers him. He will take his cut and not give a shit. The joke is on the buyers, same way it's always been with the Pistols. They were all about monetizing image, from day one, and they never even tried to hide it.

i dont really disagree entirely with a lick of anything youre saying- but i do think thats why john lydon split off and did public image ltd.. which is hysterically named given this convo
 but i think in his case it was a tongue in cheek thing- and that band was definitely not a successful sitch until WAAAY later.

the only other bit though might be who OWNS the copyright to 'sex pistols' now, sadly. god only knows if its still even the original members.

I know for sure that Jones, Cook and the estate of Sid Vicious still own it. Not sure about Lydon. There was a court battle about it but I don't remember what happened.

It would be even funnier if everyone but Lydon is getting a cut. :ROFLMAO: That would be classic Sex Pistols shit lol

I will give Lydon credit, he called in a murder's row of heavy hitters for Album. Vai's lead at the end of Ease is amazing

Also it wasn't a stock JCM. it was modded by Harry Kolbe for Billy Duffy. Bet your ass it won't have those mods lol

On Album he also had Bill Laswell, Bernie Worrell, Ginger Baker, and Tony Williams. Baker and Lydon are two of the most toxic people on the planet. I pity everyone who had to be in the room with them at the same time.

I dunno, they're pretty close. Just change the pink and yellow to black and you may have something.
