Added a G major and Boss GX700 today

The Boss came with the G major
Maybe I'm spoiled but the Boss sounds.... Really bad with all pre amp settings. The cleans are ok but I think that one is going to be sold, i expected a lot more to be honest

Anyone here with experience before i sell it ;)

You need two or three of these...

You could hide them behind the vintage gear. Must keep the look! ;)

I have an x32 ;)
The FX units are connected via a UMC1820.

Funny thing is that i can buy 2 of those racks for the price of one quad cortex ;)
It looks impressive and sounds amazing but you can buy most for next to nothing.

;)
Found out why the GX700 sounded terrible
I'm using TRS patch cables and when i switch to standard the sound is much better. Still sounds less than the g major (wow) and needs a lot of eq. But it's now more than usable.

Still using a G Major in the loop of my Mark IIB. Really like the comp and octave stuff with it. Having input and output control is nice too...almost like another master volume.

That rack looks intimidating as hell to me...but I like it!

+1 I have an MSLM and paired with a patchbay to easily throw things in and out of the various MSLM loops, it’s pretty much the dream for rack usage.

I've had the 8008, but which one is this...?

*** Reminder ***
You have three rack spaces left!
Don't be caught like this again! It's not a good look... ;)

actually i have 2 other racks (smaller) with the 2101
And Direct on the x32 a nice Behringturd compressor, Edison and a sonic maximizer.

I love the cheaper vintage gear.

That's the 90001 tube pre amp
When I was 18 traded my jcm800 combo for the 90001 and 8080 valvestate. I actually really like the 90001 it's different but with lower gain settings it has "balls"
