“China-Built” JTG Series Tyler Guitars

They have over time added more of the US appointments to the SE line. The started putting Paul's signature on the headstock like the US models. The one that got a lot of people fired up was when they started putting the old solid birds on them. That sold a lot of guitars. They continue to make them look more similar to the US models but still clearly have the SE on the headstock. I still think they are the best import on the rack at the price point they are at.
They still feel different though.

Neck profiles are definitely different and immediately noticable. They have the same names as the US models but they do not feel the same. A wide thin neck on an SE feels totally different than a wide thing or pattern thin US model.
They somehow manage to feel like Epiphones .
One thing I hate whenever I find it is over bevelled fret ends narrowing the playing width. Both Epiphone and SE frequently suffer from this.

Arriving Monday…

Where and how much?
Got it from Tyler.
I go back with Jim a few decades, heck been on their artist list since then.

When Rich was at Line6 and did the Tyler Variax he brought me in as Alpha/Beta tester. I also did the same for their amps/etc. because being tight with Bogner.

From what I see it’s pretty much 1799 everywhere. US 1799$, UK1799£ I was curious and price in the UK to Germany is like 1499 so that’s 1799€ except that then there’s VAT.
