Going to be at GC tomorrow; gonna trade my Crazy Tube Circuits White Whale for...something. Options that are in stock and at least moderately interesting. This is to go on a board with what currently has Atomic Amplifirebox (mk1); Strymon Volante; Tone King mini Fuzz v2; Tone City Sweet Cream:

ToneX One
Wampler Pantheon
JHS Morning Glory
Warm Audio Foxy Tone octave fuzz thing
Fender Shields Blender (this would require a little cash on my end)
Maestro Agena Envelope Filter
Way Huge Atreides
Catalinbread Octapussy octave fuzz

Tonex One is my favorite purchase in a long time. That should also garner some cash on your end.

I’ve wanted to try an Atreides just because it looks cool. No experience with it though.

I think I’m actually just gonna take the cash and grab this plugin

only pedals I reeeeeally want aren’t in stock there (Wampler Belle; union tube and transistor Labs; Keeley rotary)

Hopefully you know that Nobels people who made the original ODR and the Mini have released a v2 mini with a bass knob. And its cheaper than the Belle!

Wampler build quality is good though. Friend has the Pantheon.

I always find Brian’s pedals to be tweaked in the exact ways I like them compared to what they are based on.

Pretty diverse shopping list.
If that plugin gets creative juice flowing…do that.

If I didn’t have other capture devices, personally id consider tonex..if not for amps, then for pedal captures or the plugin. Lots of stuff for a small price imo.

I just took the cash. The shopping list was from "stuff the website said the store had in stock that looked remotely interesting". While a few of the items might have been interesting, I know what I like at this point and none of those things would have been keepers. Will go back and look at the plugin again and see if I should drop money on it. I was really fired up about it back int he fall...but I hate spending money on plugins.

Good call if you don’t really fancy something!

I just spent money last night on a few SDX libraries, but I've been overdue for some new tones in SD3.
I'm watching the Soulfi vid fwiw, I'm not familiar with Teletone's stuff.

I still do it the old fashioned way…play each hand of the drummer on individual midi tracks..edit..a track with fills…time consuming ;(
I did that yesterday with Impact, in Studio One. Granted, I kept it very, very simple. But it can get time consuming unless it's something you do frequently (which I don't).
