What "pedal power" for 12v 2.0a mfx and a handful of Boss pedals?

Board has a Zoom G11 with a 12v 2.0a supply. Plan to run a few other Boss style pedals, maybe a ToneX in the future.

Is there a pedal power solution that will handle this, or should I just use a power strip and individual supplies?

The smaller pedal power bricks I have seen don't handle 12v 2a output. I might be able to string together multiple 12v outputs, but why? Why not just use the original transformer at this point?

Cioks might have something:

I put this together for complete battery operation:

I bought a Voodoo Pedal Power 3 Plus while it was on sale over the holidays. It has a 1x 12V/2A or 2x 12V/1A option. I power my Quad Cortex with it.

FWIW, if the unit comes with a 12V/2A supply, there's a good chance it actually consumes much less. The QC comes with a 12V/3A supply, but when I had it hooked up to my bench supply, using a DMM to catch peak current, I never saw it draw more than 1.76A - even with really busy presets. Similarly, the HX Stomp XL runs off 2x paralleled 9V/500mA outlets on my PP3+, despite coming with a 9V/3A supply. I haven't stress tested the HX Stomp XL to see if it will run off 1A in all circumstances, but I've not run into any issues yet.

Good information.

My current thinking (no pun intended), is to just use a power strip. The MFX will use its own adapter, and I have another Boss PSA 120 adapter (9v, .5a), that I can use with a daisy chain cable to power multiple small Boss 9v pedals. Research shows that most 9v pedals consume < 50ma, so I should be able to daisy chain a good handful from that one small supply.

Is there any reason why this will not work? Is daisy chaining pedals problematic in terms of noise?

In case you don't mix digital pedals, no. But you need a decent power supply. The ones from Boss aren't particularly great, sometimes more to the opposite (which I always found to be rather strange, but I replaced some in my life and got less noise).
