What gets you to the merch table?

Selling myself and my brand is my least favorite part of doing original music. What are some unique pieces that get you to at least walk over and look at the merch table?

Baseball shirts :chef

EDIT: Oh, and if there's a really long line I won't even bother, but if you have that going on then you wouldn't be asking for advice.
Like raglan style or full-on jerseys?
Unique doesn’t get me. Cool shirts do.

That being said, I created a dice game for our band and had some custom dice made. Sold like 8 sets at the last gig.
“Cool shirt” is such a broad thing, though. Some people think bright colors and a busy design are cool, some people think something more “professional” is cool.

Raglan - I think they look cool and I also hate having my wrists covered - so I'm always rolling up my sleeves with button-down shirts and I avoid long sleeves like the plague lol. But band raglans always look way cool to me and they're a more rare find.

also a band did a shirt with a mosh pic on the back that was actually from the venue im running (my band was playing when the pic was taken) their guitar player was punching someone hahahahaha

i def bought that one and paid them more than they were asking for it. i show my kids that shirt when they say their dad is a lame old dude lol.

Cool shirt designs always work. Can be quite personal what you like.

Last merch I bought was a Judas Priest Defenders of the Faith shirt because it was navy blue instead of black, and the Cyborg Gatling Gun Bear Tank is the best kind of kitsch.

The absolute worst band T-shirts are generic black ones with a square shape album cover on it. Fuck that shit. I also don't like stuff like tour dates on the back.

I also like some niche things. I have a golden cassette tape from Gost for example. I don't even own a cassette player, it's purely a thing that sits in a display case to admire with other knick knacks and art pieces.
