Well I sure would rather not have those hard to see Dual Rec knobs on anything.

That said, they've really phoned it in with the chassis design of this latest batch of pedals. The red/black theme on the Anti is a nod to Van Halen's guitar, right? Enigmatic's color comes from the suede covered Dumble ODS.

If you compare the above two, all those accent colors are gone from the last 3 pedals. Which is probably just that little bit cheaper to make. I guess the Knuckles is basically "that's about the color of the treadplate panel on a Dual Rec and the black knobs are the tolex"? Which seems really lazy. Why is this not instead black with a metal color recessed area?

Looking forward to this one, Recto's are my favourite amps and so many get close without nailing it. I have high hopes for UA and their ambitions with guitar gear.

Totally agree that the look of the pedal totally misses the vibe of a Dual Rectifier. There is so much nostalgia and personality they could have tapped into and it just looks like a generic "amp in the box" pedal. Why not reference the knobs or the chrome or the treadplate. The visuals should give the essence and clues of what to expect from the sound of the pedal. This doesn't even really look minimal or slick, just half assed.
