Two very different treatments of and original song. V1 or V2? Any preference? (wrong link corrected)

As the title says, these are two very different treatments of the same piece of music. I am way to close to be objective. Any preferences of observations?

Both are lovely, but I have a preference towards V2.

I like both, but the second version is my favourite. Particularly for that intro section. I like the way it sets up the piece.

I’m more of a blues/rock player, but a long time ago I discovered Joe Pass and Barney Kessel, your playing reminds me of them. Great chord work. I love all those altered extended chords.

Ha! I just thought I was too much of a musical troglodyte to be able to notice the difference between the first two you posted.

I like the second one too...now that I can hear a difference.
