TRS splitter for expression pedal?

Is there any reason plugging something like this into my expression pedal and going to two separate devices wouldn’t work?

Hmm I just did some reading and it seems like the biggest issue would be that different pedals expression inputs expect different voltages and that's where the problem lies?

Exactly. And if one voltage is positive and the other negative, there is potential for reverse current flow.
