FM3 user here.
I figured I would throw this out there.
What would be a way to achieve while playing in stereo a slight bit of a lag/delay in one channel over the other channel?
I’m at work contemplating this lol.
Probably as obvious as the nose on way face but…
I have brain fog at times 😂😂😂

Pardon my ignorance, but why not just use a Delay block panned hard Left or Right @7-20ms?

Into / After what?

FM3 has a single Amp and a single Cab block.

I usually run Delay as a stereo effect after the cab. I didn't think this effect required 2 amps, just a stereo image??

I'm no FM3 (or any FAS product) user, but let me ask you: What's the intended purpose of this? Just to widen things up or for things to actually sound like double tracked guitars?

Well now that you’ve opened that door lol
Both have their merits.
Until I could compare them in my environment I really am not sure which one I would prefer.
Maybe option paralysis 😂 :facepalm

The mimiq I know varies the delay and signal to “mimiq” laying down a second track, I think just using a delay like that would give you more a chorus effect?

@Cooper Carter has a nice Pitch block that uses several LFOs to sweep pitch and delay times, which fattens the sound and sounds reasonably double-tracked.

See his post in '"Petrucci Rig" Factory Preset Update JPIIC+ and MIMIQ', and actually that entire thread, including the first post.
I just bookmarked that thread to read.
Thanks for the link Mike 👍
Interesting to say the least.
Now back to my regularly scheduled practice 😂😂😂
