Back in my 20s I played in a band with a 140 lb bassist that had a 12 space shock mount rack system with a Sansamp preamp feeding a GEQ and an Ampeg SVT4. He had the stereotypical 8x10 and of course our rehearsal pad was on a 2nd floor. He needed help for everything The next bassist in the band was the same scrawny type of dude with an identical 8x10. My friend was the drummer for a southern rock cover band and on the bigger gigs the keyboardist INSISTED on taking that monster.
It DID sound awesome.
I still have flashbacks.

That's nice but you can just get a modeler instead. Sure, you will be ruining live music and will not be heard, but think just of the convenience! You're whole rig in ONE HAND!

I use the Onstage cart, it's nice and not as expensive as the Rock n Roller

The best cart in the guitar world is a 4x12.
Head on top of the cab, pedalboard on top of the head, dual guitar gig bag on my back. One trip and the "cart" sounds awesome.

Nice job getting all of that into one trip. I'll use a cart depending on distance to stage. Lately I've been going back to bigger rigs, so my cart is getting more use these days.

Umm… I’ve never found myself needing to climb rotted decaying narrow wooden stairs on a cliff face to load in. I’ll pass on that gig

Yep, ramps and service elevators. My little carts is nothing compared to all the other stuff that gets carted through there
You’re in Manhattan, aren’t you? I thought for sure those theatres would be nothing but EXACTLY what you described, like all the older venues in New England are.
No one has truly “played” the Middle East in Boston unless they rode down the backstairs on a 8x10 like a toboggan immediately after smashing their fingers between said 8x10 and the stair railing made from Paul Revere’s actual bedpost.
