The level of detail is pretty crazy here. Two “clones” with impressive prices.

I’m not here saying this is right or that they are going to sound the same…. But the photos kinda shocked me with how clever these can be done. Made complete with the “Sustin” foot switch.

When I think about the recent busts involving fake Gibsons and others, it makes me wonder how widespread the issue might be. Both above board (known) and surreptitiously (complete fakes).

The issue with pedals is you can't copyright a circuit. Someone can copy the circuit and get away with it. Where things start getting into legal territory is if they start copying the graphics and look of the pedal to where it is an exact copy. Even then it is difficult to stop it, especially when it comes from another country.
